A Witch in Winter
More Info...
When love is tangled up in magic, how can you be sure what's real? Anna Winterson doesn't know she's a witch and would probably mock you for believing in magic, but after moving to the small town of Winter with her father, she learns more than she ever wanted to about power. When Anna meets Seth, she is smitten, but when she enchants him to love her, she unwittingly amplifies a deadly conflict between two witch clans and splits her own heart in two. She wants to love Seth, to let him love her - but if it is her magic that's controlling his passion, then she is as monstrous as the witch clan who are trying to use her amazing powers for their own gain.

AVOX GIRL
"Whilst predictable was nothing short of a griping read. Think Twilight and Harry Potter mixed into one.
When I first read the blurb I was not overly keen on the book however by chapter three I had fallen into a spell of wanting to find out the end. Warburton wrote the book in an unusual way with the first major complication in the fourth chapter, this did sadly lead the book down a familiar path. However she added many twists and turns that made me want to now more.
Anna Winterson is anything but superstitious she had no belief in ghosts or goblins and the thought of witches and wizards being real had never crossed he mind. So when she casts a love spell on Seth Walters the 'it' boy at school and it actually works her life changes for ever. With no one to turn to for help Anna tries hard to undo the spell, the trouble is she has no control of her power and undoes a lot more than just her spell. Enter the Ealdwitan (think Volturi from Twilight but for Witches and Wizards.) Anna makes a drastic promise to them not to involve common people with magic but when her loved ones lives are at stake can Anna keep her promise? A war among the Witches is about to break out, be prepared for the unexpected for the powers of Winter are unknown.
I wont say I loved ' A Witch in Winter' but neither did I hate it, whilst it kept me engaged and eager to keep reading, for me it just seemed like too many of the other dates I'd been on but if you like the classic teen romance then I promise 'A Witch in Winter' will not disappoint you.
