Surely I’m not the only one who gets anxious when waiting around for the release of a sequel, tormented by the question: ‘Will this book be as good as, if not better than, the first?’ The sheer anticipation can drive me a bit crazy sometimes!
I’m not going to lie; this is exactly what it was like for me while waiting for ‘Enticed’. I couldn’t help it! Something about the ending of ‘Embrace’ told me that Jessica Shirvington has a lot more up her sleeve, probably more than she’s letting on. . .

Long story short, my instincts and expectations were dead on! Only now I have even more! Oh why, why, why can’t October come around sooner? Cursed cliff-hangers!

I’m worried if I get too caught up I’m going to give away some plot line so I’m just going to take a few minutes to reign in.

‘Enticed’, for me, was everything I wished it could be. Violet, now over the drama of becoming a Grigori, is immersed further into this new life she has chosen to be a part of complete with kick-ass combat training (with a few new faces), deeper and darker mysteries of Grigori history (as well as her own), an awe-inspiring and very revealing expedition to the ancient mountains of Jordan and of course the exiled angels, who seem to be preparing for a showdown unlike anything the world has seen before. If only the Grigori could figure out what they are planning…and more importantly WHO is leading the...

Let’s not forget Violet’s little romantic situation. Phoenix returns with a revelation to Violet of the worst kind, knotting their destinies closer and closer together. And Lincoln, well, he’s hiding something, AGAIN!
Seriously, weren’t the secrets supposed to end already?

With just as much action, humour, passion and betrayal as the first book, ‘Enticed’ will draw you deeper into Jessica Shirvington’s amazing world and leave you raring to know what happens next.

If you thought Embrace was action packed then Enticed will blow your mind!

Violet Eden still isn't sure if embracing was the right choice for her, of course she wasn't going to let Lincoln die, but in the end she was never given a choice. She is haunted by what happened in the dessert and is still afraid to use her dagger. Enticed faces Violet with new problems and new friends but old enemies that are wiling to stop at nothing. It seems that even though months have passed nothing has really changed. Humans aren't safe and Grigori are still being hunted, and once more it is up to are brave heroine to save the day. But Violet soon realizes that not everything can be saved, and sometimes things aren't worth saving. Violet is once more faced with a choice in which there is only one real option but she will do anything to make sure what she does is for the right reasons this time.

Enticed wouldn't be complete without bad boy Phoenix and Lincoln and Shrivington once more creates a love triangle that twilight can't compare to.

If you love a date action packed full of adventure with romance mixed in enticed will serve for you perfect night in.
